Wear and tear

Curbs, Potholes, and road construction can distort the inner and/or outer lip of a wheel. This damage normally will leave you with a vibration and a wheel that is difficult to get properly balanced. Once we determine that your wheel can be repaired, we locate and mark all of the areas that are bent. We then heat the bent areas in order to make them more malleable. Next, we use our hydraulic straightening machine to “push”/”pull” the bent areas back to round. The final step is to re-check the wheel with a run-out gauge to ensure it is straight. Call us for an appointment, or drop your wheel off to be picked up later.
